Step 1

Please start by testing the standard or default AMA model. It mobilizes systems thinking, detective-style guidance, and the Socratic method to augment the user's insight into their priority complex issues. In this first run-through, you'll see how the model works and gain confidence in using its expanded features in Step 2.

In the Situation window, describe a priority issue you want to understand better. AMA will assign a team of "detectives" to help unpack the larger system behind your issue.

Default output includes:

A high-level general understanding of the system
An engaging narrative
A summarized causal loop diagram
Other research perspectives related to your situation that tend to support your systems thinking.
Ability to download the entire conversation and the map.
A summary of the principles.

Step 2

Now use the advanced features for more powerful, nuanced support for your decision-making, planning, and action.

Add Personal & Situational Context: Upload or paste background files (e.g., your CV, role description, firm strategic plan, financials, competitive analysis). The more context you provide, the more relevant the response. Your content is secure in our API, but you may choose to upload only non-sensitive information for now.
Customize Your Expert Panel: Instead of the default "detectives," request 4–5 specific virtual advisors (well-known experts with a strong public profile) or let AMA choose relevant global experts. (Tip: We highly recommend including Elliott Jaques alongside experts like Peter Senge, Edgar Schein, John Kotter, or Chase Hughes).
Remove Node Limits: Instruct AMA to ignore default limits on nodes and links so it retains full memory and nuance throughout the conversation.
Ask for Perspectives earlier in the conversation, and ask that they examine your thinking through different lenses, and nudge you a bit.
Generate an Action Plan: Ask AMA to summarize key insights into a draft action plan complete with activities, roles, timelines, and estimated costs.
Critique the Plan: Ask AMA to stress-test your action plan by probing for potential weaknesses and vulnerabilities.
